I was pretty sure that was what you meant...the bow I finished is a glass bow so not sure that would of any value to you...if you want to see pics of that bow just do a search of my damascusdave username and look for reference to Beaver Creek blank...I am a big fan of marine grade spar varnish which is modified tung oil...seems like it has kind of been replaced by marine grade spar urethane which I would guess is any entirely different product...still learning about applying the spar varnish but one thing I know is that you want lots of thin coats and some 0000 steel wool between coats...maybe not the most durable finish you will come across but an easy one to work with and a very easy one to touch up...and thanks for reminding me I have a yew self bow waiting to try to see if it will handle my draw length...if every bow I owned had some yew in it I would be a happy bowhunter...to me it has almost magical qualities

Only need to go back as far as April of 2013 and look for marine grade spar varnish...there is a good pic of that bow...and reading my earlier opinion I guess I think it is pretty durable referencing the difficulty I had cutting through it with a rasp...the older I get the more I notice my opinions change almost daily
