I've been looking for a source for Coffee/Mocha'ish Brown colored self-adhesive Grip wraps, similar to Tennis Grip wraps, for one of my recurves to no avail. Can't seem to find that color. I'm finding every other color imaginable for some reason.

Does anyone know where I can find one? Not really wanting a slip-on, or stitch on one.

Appreciate any input you might have.

Thanks,

YB

This isn't what you asked for, but I used Deerskin Elbow patches and glued with Leatherweld. Works great as a 'palm grip' and hasn't peeled or slipped.

Don't know if this would suit you but I have used it and it works great.

Not sure which one that is George, when I copy & paste the link I keep getting a "page is no longer available" prompt. I didn't see what I'm looking for at 3 Rivers though when I looked.

Appreciate the input though.

Yankee, I use bike handlebar wraps on my surf rods. They come in assorted colors. You can buy them at a bike shop and I believe Walmart carries them. And I know you can get different shades of brown.

Go to 3Riversarchery.com/ and type in key word grip wrap.

Or, remove the space between baseite m. For some reason Chromes always adds a space that shouldn't be there.

Try this one.

I use 3Rivers Item 6097X self adhesive leather for arrow rests and side plates. It is pretty thin and can be used as grip material too. I have used bow saddles but they are black leather and your looking for brown.

Thanks George, I found the one you're talking about. I'm looking for something more like this http://www.3riversarchery.com/bow+grip+skin_i5604_baseitem.html, but in brown and self-adhesive.

Thanks, YB

I can't find it now but was looking last year for something similar. I ended up searching tennis racket wraps and found a good variety of styles and colors.

Thanks for the info Robert, but I prefer the feel of the overlapping grip wraps. I know it's kinda anal, but then again, so am I :-)

Thanks Fred, that's what I've been looking for (got a black one on a black metal Riser Quinn Stallion and love it) but can't seem to find one in brown to match the quiver for one of my wooden bows. YB

I think what you are looking for could probably be found in a sporting good store specializing in baseball equipment...the older wooden bats could often be found with a wrap like you describe

Adidas Pro Tack bat wrap appears to be available in 5 colours from Dick's Sporting Goods...good chance one of those colours is what you are looking for

No chance at that price that I'd be owning it, but I do believe this is what you're looking for?

How about a steering wheel cover and some barge cement.

Tennis Express have what you need for $10. This was light brown and I darkened it with shoe polish. Wilson, Dunlop, Gamma and number of others make good leather wrap.
