Just wanted to give a quick review of this bow. Picked it up on a trade. Stats are 47@28 60". Bow is spitting out 45/50's poplar shafts with high back nanners and 145 eclipes up front. Bow is a solid shooter and a bargain at new price. This one will be at bat for opening day. Great little longbows.

I'm surprised you didn't offer for me to shoot it the other day. I bet you think My shooting that Hill bow broke it. :^)

That new one is a nice and like all you own and decide to hunt with, you shoot it well. It is undoubtedly the quietest bow I've ever heard shot, without silencers. The GN quiver fits it well too. Just a great little bow for sure. BTW, long-armed Tom broke your other one, not me. :^) God Bless

Stickbow, how does that bow feel on the draw? Preload, smoothness, etc? I am considering picking up a Great Northern in the future.

Feels great. Been use to shooting higher poundage bows and took a little time to get use to it. I have a short draw around 27". The bow settles into anchor and is very smooth, great cast, and no hand shock. Very nice bow. I called GN bow company and had a good conversation with the builder. Several suggestions were given. All worked. It's well worth the money. A GN bush bow is next on the list.

Don, it's that darn Justin causing trouble again, you know how he is. Dave sent me pics of his new Bush bow, very sweet bow. I am considering a GN Traditional Longbow if I can find one myself. Tom

Great Northern Field Bows or any of Jerry's bows are hard to beat. My girlfriend has a Field Bow and loves it. I just bought her a Bush Bow that is 33#@28" and 62" and she shoots it as well. I own the Lil Creep, BushBow, Traditional Longbow and a Critter Getter Special and love shooting them all. Congrats on your Field Bow and enjoy! Jim :)
