Scored big this morning, bought a pair of safari ph boots, they are practically new have not been broken in yet, seller has new job won't have time for hunting, these are susposed to be some of the best what do you guys think.

They are very good and comfortable boots. I have a pair that are pretty old, they need resoling, which I will do shortly . . .

If they fit correctly you'll be very pleased but you can say that about any shoe

Agree with overbow. Russell boots are about custom made for you. Otherwise they are custom made for someone else. Hope they fit, I love my two pair.

I'm sure they are a good boot if they fit you-they seem real quality. My own experience was not great. Sent them back twice-not sure they did anything at all. I ordered a pair of shoes from them too and they were perfect; but the boots never worked for me. On the bright side I was able to sell them for about 60% of what I paid and the new owner seemed happy, so no big loss. But I would have preferred to have loved them.

I have a couple pair and absolutely love them...I'm a hard fit and it is impossible to get a pair that don't need some serious break in time until my russels.

Got a pair of mountain sheep hunters back in March. Two days...if that long and they were RIGHT!

If I wasn't such a difficult fit 13 H ( H is the equivalent to 5E) I'm sure I could be very happy with non customs.
