Got my new scale working and is confirming my suspicions. Heavy setup 28" arrow 2317 gg 210 gr broad head. Light set up 2219 legacy 145 gr broad head. 585 and 643. Cameron

Cameron as I mentioned on the phone nobody is buying that a 585 grain arrow is a light set up...I think you meant to say heavier and lighter

Likes the 2219 with 210 gr broad head also. 8" of penetration the others tied at 7". Penetration test not scientific lol. 650 gr arrow. Cameron

Beautiful bow. What is the draw weight listed on it. Does it match your scale readings well?

I love my 59 Kodiak. It is a great bow!

It's marked 60#. I just scaled it today. I knew it had a little extra snap shooting 2317's@28". Cameron

It would have even MORE "snap" if you didn't 't shoot those logs for arrows! ;)

Man, Bear is doing those tips up right.

For years and years their tips were overbuilt and crude garbage, but they've done gone and got their act together.

Good for Bear. Beautiful bow Rooty.

You can't compare the penetration in foam because the 2317 is alot larger diameter shaft. In an animal a large broadhead cuts a nice hole so shaft size doesn't mean a lot in muscle but in foam it means everything.

Yes GFL. My 50 pounders go in about 2" less. This has nothing to do with animals. Cameron
