It appears many folks believe the earlier green stripe versions were better, but I have no issues/compaints with the later versions.

SWAG, That looks an awful lot like a riser I shipped a week ago. ;-)

Hey Dan In MI! It sure does except for the leather side arrow rest, the set of limbs, an a car wax job I put on her. Don't know why you sold but I for one am sure glad you did. THANKS >>>------>

And if you add some Rose Oak limbs you have a next world performance, those Green Stripe limbs were real dogs, expecially the ones with squared tips.

Lowered the shelf by 5/8" and put a nice radius on it as well as installing a vintage Waltham wrist compass (issued to all WW2 aviators to help find there way back out of enemy lines if shot down) ... love it, even with those doggy squared off limbs.

It left Michigan because a Grayling B caught my eye.

My Greenstripe "Hansen". My good friend Randy Hansen worked for Frank Scott at the Grayling Bear museum in the late '70s. After the move to Gainesville, Randy became a Regional Sales Rep for Bear in 1979. This was his sales sample. It has a five digit serial number. No letter prefix. I acquired it from him in 2012. It now has brown glass Custom Kodiak limbs from the Bill Stewart era. Unique bow!
