Picked up this pearson colt on the swap and trade a while back and it has quickly become one of my favorites! It had a 16 strand string on it when I got it and was pretty slow so I had a old 6 strand sbd I put on it and it shoots a 460 grain goldtip great. It's 40@28".

Amazing isn't it, FF working on bows with no overlays. I've been using it for a good many years now. Someone will be along now to tell you how you will blow up your bow. Stay tuned.

My nephew had been shooting a Javelina 66" and liking it a lot. This weekend at Oxtar, he grabbed a colt in the same weight that looked like the Javelina's little sister. Same wood, glass and riser shape but 4 inches shorter. I built him a new string and put a feather rest on it. Now he cannot seem to miss. Did I mention he got this nearly mint bow for $50 at the blanket sale? Ya don't have to drop $1,000 for a good bow! Congrats and enjoy!

I think sbd pads to 16 strands with b50

This one will make a trip or two to the woods this year!! I've got a custom that's been spending a lot of time on the rack!! I've been having a ball with this bow and my (plywood) super kodiak!

Killed my first trad buck with a 45 lb Colt was a really nice shootin bow probably should have kept it.

Got one myself. It's a real beater, but boy, does it shoot. If you can find one, grab it. Mine's 48#@28"

Still have the one my Dad gave me 33 years ago, when I was eleven.

Killed a bunch of rabbits with the Colt when I was a kid.
