Just bought a Sasquatch Longbow from Kirk, 62" 50# Similar to the pic but with some custom alterations. Anyone ever shoot one of Kirks bow. Comments appreciated

I've been shooting a Sasquatch 3pc recurve for the past 3 years. It's the flattest shooting bow I've shot to date. Macassar Ebony riser, Zebra limb cores, Macassar Ebony veneers. 62" 53#'s @27" Kirk is a great guy to do business with and go out of his way to build a bow to suit you.

I ordered mine with MACASSAR EBONY AND CURLY MAPLE. radius riser Flush limb footing with flush limb bolts. This guy pays a lot of detail and is a great communicator Making sure everything Im looking for is well understood. JUST have never shot one and made the decision based on some of the tech details and of course their gorgeous.

I've got two of Kirk's bows and I love'em. They shoot fast, quiet, accurate, and, they look great too! What more could you ask for? Couple that with a great guy to deal with, and it's a win, win situation! Charlie

So far in the process, he's everything you've just described I gave him some general wood preferences and style of bow then told him to surprise me on the details. Just booked the order. 6 month wait. I'll get it on time in the spring to give me ample time to practise for the next season. So. far, happy with how he runs his business and the care he puts in to his customers.

I have the first onepiece carbon recurve Kirk built. It is as good a shooting bow as there is made IMHO and in the top echelon of bows. Add to this the fact that kirk is just one fine person and absolutely spoils his customers to death with communications and pics ect and how can you beat it. Word is out that he may be building some ILF bows. If so you better jump on them cause his abilities will make them some of the best craftsmanship available.
