A buddy of mine has a Big east takedown recurve that he doesn't know the recomended brace height for. Big east were made here in North East pa a few years ago but seem to have gone under. I'm almost certain the maker was Mike Fedora's son. Mike Fedora of Fedoras traditional archery that is. Anyone know recomended brace height? Thanks in advance, Don

Mike, Jr. went out of business because he didn't know enough about customer service. I'll let it at that. I'm assuming he has a 3 pc takedown? If so, start about 8" and work up and down to find the best spot for quietness and performance. It can vary from shooter to shooter.

For his one piece recurve Mike Junior recommended a brace height of 6 ½”-7 ¼” from the back of the shelf. He considered 6 ¾” to be ideal. For nocking point height he recommended 5/8”. Hope this helps.
