Arrows that is....my 1960 Kodiak Special. I got it out tonight and shot a bunch of arrows through it. I was built the same year it was, but it is in better shape and performs a whole lot better than I ever did. It is 48#'s and 64". Hats off to the old Bear bows!

My Bear bow is 1 year older than I am... it was made in '61 and I'm still shooting it.

My father had a Kodiak Special from maybe 1957 or '58. I still think that bow shot as fast as most recurves made since. There must be something about the design of that bow. They were and still are a nice bow. Enjoy it and have fun. Skeet

Good looking ole girl. I'm not sure if there's one left from my birth year unless it's in a museum. I don't think they were using fiberglas lams back in 1942.

nice bow. i have one on left hand but its a kodiak 1961 and also a 1962. both 45 lbs. don't need them.
