So as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago; I received a new Thunderhorn 3pc longbow. You may recall that I already own a 62" version 45# @28" that has Cocobolo / Zebrawood in the riser and unique looking Zebrawood veneers. Well I've been wanting a figured maple version for quite some time at 64" in length. Well I was lucky enough that Duane was working on a stock bow (he no longer takes customs orders) that fit my desire :) This new version is 64" 48# @28" Duane calls the maple Thumbnail Maple; similar to Birdseye but the knotty areas are bigger. The riser also has Texas Ebony and Zebrawood. Thumbnail Maple veneers and Myrtle wood core. Of course Antler tips and stipple on the grip. Hope you enjoy the pics.....the bow is awesome looking and shooting. ~ joe
