HI FELLAS,AM WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE GRAYLING LIMBS NOT FITTING ON THE NEW RISER? MINE IS A 2013 RISER. THANKS.

You may have to remove the set screw that aligns the limbs.

I just bought a set of 60# nice used Gainesville limbs that will not fit my 2003 riser. I figure the alignment screws are there for a reason so, I did not want to remove them. I will sell those limbs. Probably a little too heavy for me anyway. I then bought a 50# set of 2013 limbs that that just fit it. But, I have to move or wiggle slightly to align them before I can close the latch on both.

Truth be told, you don't even need that alignment pin.

My understanding is the pin's intent is to prevent accidental upper and lower limb swapping.

I removed mine to quiet it

On the newer riser I believe the locator screw has a larger head. The newer limbs have a brass insert the screw fits into. The screw can be removed and replaced with a screw with a smaller head or grind the head down on the original screw.

Some good advice here. I was having a noise problem with my 2013 bubinga, and removed the pins. No more creaking and popping.

I have removed the pins as well in my wood and mag risers. My first issue was noise, tried waxing, no good. Then I bought a set of after market limbs which would not fit the mag riser, so took pins out of that riser as well. Only issue with this setup is an unstrung bow, the pins do help keep limbs in pockets.

I have found that the new limbs fit the old risers but my old limbs don't fit the new ones. I haven't tried to play with the screws.

va I must think everybody cant see "grin".

Just a little mod and she's good its all part of the tune up and fit while swaping things out no matter what year risers we exchange or limbs. I got my Bamboo limbs and they fit on every riser but for some reason my Green stripe they didn't so we modified the hole a tad and wola she's good to go.

Don't think I would take my pins out rather do a little custom fitting if necessary.

I believe the ones that Brandon Stahl made a while back didn't have locator pins in the riser. Do what makes you comfortable, but I would just take them out if the didn't fit. You can grind them down, or make the hole bigger but that is also tinkering.
