Today's shot will be 16 yards from an elevated position at a broadside target. Use what you can to simulate being in a tree stand... ladder, balcony, hillside, truck bed, etc...

God Bless,

Great shots, Trad and Fred. I is raining like pouring you know what out of a boot here. I promised myself I would put up a tree stand in the yard today to shoot from and that is what I will do. I may not shoot in the rain but I night.

Thanks CD for the shot callout. I had to take a 20 yard shot from a 12 foot high stand. Just a little to far back.

Shooting to the right with the Predator for some reason.

Find the arrow contest. I had to look for it too. It was under the leaves under the stinging nettle under the target. Dang it.....not the way to start my FS week.

No communist today, but Mr. squirrel didn't make it our alive, even though it didn't fly exactly where I wanted it to.

It just never stopped raining here today. I just did not feel like shooting in the rain or getting out in it at all for that matter. I will get it done tomorrow.

As called off the low edge of the roof. Usually shoot all the arrows when we're up there, but not tonight. A$$ is draggin'...93 degrees and no slack at work today.

Thanks CD and hoping this finds everyone well;

Bill

Steamin hot here this evening... just standing in the shade you break a hefty sweat! Beads of sweat running down (not sayin where!) as I type.

Took my shot from the ladder... a little forward of where I was looking. Took the shot several more times and I swear I hit the same hole 3 out of 4 times. It was around my 6th shot before I ever got back to the heart.

Good grief... I gotta cool off! :)

Shot as called. When I went to snap a photo. I got the tail end of copperhead going into a brush pile near by. I'm not one to mess with what was better left alone. Time is ticking till season here in GA. Got a grip squared away y'all should see it this time next week 8-) upgrading to something! Keep your eyes out for Mr. No shoulders and keep safe.

LOL....that's my rendition of a bedded deer...how about those sunflowers!!? Yes now that I really look at it....it is a funny pic. With my blurry old eyes..she might be walking in a soybean field. Either way, one for the freezer! Thanks..
