Would a gold tip 1535 be to light for whitetails? I'm worried about penetration

i am going to use them with 100g brass inserts and 135g bear razors out of my 47#@28" black hawk [[cravotta bros.] longbow, they fly great and hit hard, i believe the total weight is about 470g, actually i can get them to shoot out of most of my bows by simply playing with the tip weight a little. rich pyle

If they shoot well out of your bow, there should be no problem.

Trad fisk order the nock and point adapters and the screw weights get the 20 & 10 gr weights. Bare shaft tune them and you can get them to about 10 grains per pound really. I shot a 43# recurve and got those arrows to 450 grains key is that they fly really straight

This sow was shot with a GT1535 shaft and a 190gr grizzly broadhead on the end. The arrow made it the off side and broke off with 10 inches of shaft and broadhead in her. More than enough for a whitetail deer.

Been using them with just a 145 grain Zwickey up front for a number of years. No issues.

No possible way are they to light but make sure your head is sharp or any weight arrow could cause you an issue.

I love mine. Footed the front with a 1/2inch aluminum arrow and used a 125 Zwickey with adapter 160 total and have zero issues blowing through whitetails. Sharp heads accurate shot is all you need.

I shoot them with 100gr. brass inserts and 125gr. heads out of my 45# Shrew CH. Just got another dozen blems from big Jim today. Havent shot a deer with them yet but I will!

Mine are full length and using 150 gr tips and have 430grns out of a 43# bow. That's 10 grns per inch. No worries here. They fly like ..... Well like a arrow lol

If the shot placements good wont have any problems.I use em out of my 45 lber, with 125 grain Muzzy Phantom, and well,no problem

They'll do fine for deer-sized critters. 30" shaft with 145 grain broadheads..... no added weight.

My Ole Lady shoots a Predator Recurve 46# @28, 41# at her draw length. Her shafts are GT 1535's 27.5" with 145gr. She's yet to take something with it but I'm confident it's sufficient medicine for our SoCal Mule deer. Hopefully she'll get out in time for the late season hunt and able to field test the set up. She's expecting our second daughter and is bummed she can't go afield.

I shot two deer with them a couple years ago tipped with a 145 grain and 125 grain head. Total arrow weight was in the 390 to 405 range. Got complete pass through's on both, buried up in the ground kind of shots. I was shooting a 49-50 pound longbow and a bear greenie and a magnus I. You'll be fine as wine if they are flying straight. No need for extra weight. God Bless
