had to go back to work tonight, usually walk but wasn't excited about it so I started my daughters old school vw. The bug had not been driven in a while and wasn't running so well so I decided to take a quick drive. Went past an alfalfa field on the edge of town, 50 acres or so, counted 30ish elk, 8 whitetail, 7 turkeys and 2 geese. Could have sat there all night and not gone to work fun to see them.

Yep, the new browse growth brings them out (especially after a hard winter)
Had five deer around the backyard the other evening. They were grazing around a holly bush. For some reason the really liked the new grass around this bush.
Walked out the next day and looked like cow path around it. Noticed a several hunks of hair on the ground. Must be winter coat shedding off?
Spring is a great time to see wildlife.
