Wow thats something you think you can mold a bow from the snake and it hold up with all those bends? I have no idea thats why I am asking?

Yeah I heard a guy bought the one on eBay for $700 . I hate to say it but this stave would be gone for 700. LOL

Ryman cat I have never made one with this many turns in it. But its pretty straight so I believe it will make a great bow

Hunter Bob and Blackhawk I respect and admire what you guys are about to accomplish . Y'all have fun. I think I will stick to the ones I can get straight for now. Arvin

Hunter Bob and Blackhawk- I definitly wish you guys the best, you both have bows in those staves! I would love to see them when they are finished! Bill

Finding a spot for the grip might be a challenge.

I don't normaly care for character bvows but those two look outstanding. How do you measure the length? The string will be 6" shorter than the actual bow.

From: ROUGHCOUNTRY

One of the coolest pieces of wood I've ever seen!

From: BuzAL

Don't know your experience level, but I'd suggest to someone lucky enough to come across staves like those that they wait until they've made several very good osage bows before making those. The staves will keep.

From: hunterbob

I have made like 25 . But this one needs to cure I am thinking like 5 to 8 years . That will give me that much more Experience . If I don't sell it first.

Blackhawk has the experience.i have seen some of his handy work.
