My new work of art by Norm arrived last week. Snakewood, Ebony and figured Myrtle limbs. Limbs are 40 and 50 lb. I set up the 40lb limbs identical to another 40lb Snakebit I have. Perfect. :)

Looks identical to mine excluding the antler bolts. Mine is 64" 43 @ 28 and 60" 47 @ 28 and I am sending back out for the full gloss I want changed to.
I just got a 1 piece snake bit that used to belong to Snag and wll also send that out for full gloss.
I thought Norw wasn't checking any more that they were just going to stipple.
Also did you take delivery on the old prices I gather as well 2 sets of limbs 2400.00 where dow it seems 2400.00 for 1 set alone.

MikeW, I just wanted to have a backup for out of state hunts and leave one setup for hunting and one for 3D so I wasn't changing out arrows all of the time.
Ryman, The grip is stippled and not checkered. I did get it under the old price. Norm said they were going to stop making the Snakebit because of price and difficulty in getting the wood, but decided to keep making it at higher prices to cover the cost of the wood.
Now I can start saving for a Legacy. :)

Yes I looked closer and saw the stipple. He told me about the wood cost also that he had to raise the price so much to supply the demand thats hard to get anymore. I just had Big Jim build me a Snake Bite as well and its got some fancy snake wood I like better that Jim put in it. I'll show ya my snake bites.
I don't know what to do I too like the legacy and his new short riser but the 2 year wait I could pass on by then?LOL
He told me he's doing better now that they are refinishing in another location. I am going to send my bows back when I get a little time next and wanted to get the checkering done on my 3 piece TD but nows the stipple only and get it glossed up. heres a picture of mine.
I have 4 Black Tails now 2 snake bites I love them.

juneauhunt, Andy Kenowski of Whitetail Arrows. I have got ALOT of tapered shaft woodies from him and they are all perfectly straight and beautiful arrows. PM me if you want his contact info.
Ryman, Norm said the wait time should be 9-12 months now. Good for getting the bow quicker, bad for coming up with the cash sooner. :)

Love the looks of them. Norm does great work. I prefer the grip on Schafers though. Plus Daves checkering over stippling. I should be getting my new Silvertip this week or next.

I know was thinking about some woods I wanted next too to send in deposit.LOL
I only had 1 silertip and now you have it Keith was not overly impressed with that bow but then you had it slicked up. If a Silver tip was way over the edge like I only seen a couple of them I guess I would need it. And yes need it thats what makes me tick bad lookin bows.LOL
When I go to shoots I love it when guys come up to me and yo Cat what are you shooting today? Yeah check this out wow thats insaine when did you get this how long did it take.LOL
Certainly can't argue with Daves checkering either its over the top.
Don't forget to send me the pics Z.

You sill need to get your hands on a Whippenstick Hellfire Never shot his 3 piece so I can't comment on that but I'm sure it's up to his high standards.
If I was going to buy an other Blacktail it would a be a one piece Sitka
Snag sold his huh?
Mmmmm...Wonder why?

He sold it to a feller down south and I bought it from him. Still haven't shot it yet came Saturday.
I always wanted a 1 piece also now the Td is cozy wonder if I can breed them and come up with something really exotic.LOL.
I need to get that bow glossed also to though Mike. Now I need to get David to make me some over the edge arrows to match up the colors too I guess.
