Amen, I was just confirmed into the Catholic Faith after 67 yrs. without Christ in my life. My Patron Saint is Hubert, if you know of him, my life before Christ pretty much followed the path he was following before turning to God! Peace be With You !

The Angel Gabriel "Flew" to Daniel to inform him with enough information to calculate and prophecize the day of the coming of the Messiah...urging him to make certain all is documented and that the people are aware...about 463 years later?...Jesus came riding over the Mount Of Olives upon a Donkey (a sign of a humble approach to a Kingdom) to take in the spectacular view of Jerusalem...with 700K voices behind him chanting "Hosanna To The Son Of David"...and as Jesus saw the 2 Million Jews of Jerusalem celebrating Passover like another day at the county fair?...he pulled his donkey to the side and began weeping and sobbing s the 700K went silent...why?...because he knew right then that despite he was willfully riding to his death?...that no one in the Sanhedrin (the biblical governing body of Pharisee's and Sadducees) had even bothered to pull out the scrolls of Daniel and that...
"They Had ALL Just Missed Their Special Day"
87 years later?...The Roman General "Titus" encircled Jerusalem cutting off all supplies to the city for 143 days...and before it was over?...the people inside the city walls of Jerusalem had taken to eating their own feces...some?...their own children...and the Romans literally ran out of wood crucifying Jews that attempted to escape during the dark of night.
My Point?..."Don't Miss Your Special Day"....and don't waste it trying to convince your children of a lie that a 6' rabbit named Peter left them a basket full of candy...instead?...inform them of the truth of why they exist and can in fact have ever-lasting life...a loving and eternal relationship with God...and why that is.

I spent the morning outside watching the sun come up, listening for turkeys. And although Easter is an occasion to celebrate. i also as in many times before, felt a twinge of sadness,and humility realizing that What Christ did for man, (for me)...was unmerited.
We really do not deserve, what God has done for us. Some day i'll be able to thank Him face to face... simply and entirely because of Christ

Up at 4am to get ready for sunrise service, nice breakfast put on by the youth afterwards, and then home to rest up from it. Every time I look up at the cross in church with Him on it I get a little teary but they are tears of Joy.
