Thankfully I had the little fella with me at NCTAR, sponsored by Carolina Traditional Archers and Compton's. We had a great afternoon.

Yep... What Zbone said... Gotta have a head shot to kill 'em!! Haha ;)

Still a great shot :)

Awesome. I'd like to see more targets like that out there. It would be cool to have a shot at a 3d shoot where you had to shoot at a line of zombie targets a 100 yards out. I'm waiting to see how long until the tight pants crowd chimes in on here about how they would only ever shoot at animal targets and never humanoid ones, etc.

Here's one with my son at the Pre-Spring Fling shoot at Tannehill a year or so back. (Thanks Terry!) I was testing out a new bear takedown from the Bear tent and my son thought he'd try it out in the youth area... he liked it! hahaha

Gotta love the zombie targets!

They have been spotted in Michigan usually in the spring.

Wished I had a pile of money to build a medieval 3D course with foam knights, dragons a castle, that kind of thing, I bet kids would have a blast.

I pretty sure the Dads would love it just as much as the kids. My inner child cries for such a 3D.

You can kill Zombies faster with an EFOC arrow.......Dr. Ashby said so. :)

Since it's inception the bow and arrow has been used for hunting and in war. To deny one is to deny the other. I'm shocked they don't make more human targets. I'd be first in line if Rinehart made human targets, particularly a thug model. The bow is every bit a valid self defense tool and should be utilized as such, if so inclined.

So would I!

How was the attendance? I think it will take a return to a competetive format to get the crowds that Hickory drew to return. Landed on a holiday weekend this time , too.

The only way to stop undead Fred is a shot to the head!
