Hey folks,
I usually just read posts and never enter any myself, but felt compelled to do so after receiving my new Martin Savannah Stealth longbow yesterday.
I've always been a Martin fan, and one of their bows I own is the original Savannah made about 5 years ago - which is not only beautiful but one of the best shooting longbows I've had.
This new Stealth complements my collection and is great looking. Won't be able to shoot it until tomorrow, but I expect it to perform as well as my original one. This bow should not be overlooked if you need a new bow in this price range, and I have no reservations now about Martin and their ability to still produce great bows at a great price.
Two other notes: I spoke with Chris at Martin about the bow and their production and quality control in general, and he took plenty of time to discuss their entire operation with me today. This just reinforced my confidence in them as bowyers. Secondly, I bought the bow through Bowhunters Superstore in PA and they were great to deal with and had a great price.
Well, just thought I would share for those considering Martin.
Thanks, Joe
