I bought my Bill Stewart Dual Cam in 1987 and it has the best bow I have ever owned. Not a looker but a great shooter.

I still use my Stewart Multi Cam as my back up bow for my hunting trips. Built in 1993, still has the plastic pockets, Yew under clear glass, maple riser (which I had darkened). 56" 60# @ 27". I use a 450+ string and the bow shoots all my arrows well. Pretty fast too...I break it out now and then for some backyard shooting.

I had one until last summer. It was one of the finest shooting bows I've ever shot. I just couldn't shoot the weight anymore and after looking unsuccessfully for several years for lighter limbs, I decided to let it go to someone that would use and enjoy it. If it had been in the #40-#50 range I would have never gotten rid of it.

I still shoot and hunt with my Stewart Custom. Its 54@28. I look for any Stewart I can find in the 50-55# range.

As soon as I can get my hands on one, I will!

I sold mine to my brother in law as the poundage was a tad much. He shot it for years and shot it very well. He was the one everyone wanted to beat. He is about 17 years older than me and he hasn't shot it in over 10 years. He's slowed down a lot since hitting his 70's. The bow was 64" - 60 pounds at 28 - he drew it 32 inches - shot a 800 grain arrow - man that target would wobble and sometimes the head would fall off the McKenzie target. Antlers were almost always on the ground after he hit the target. I quit pulling his arrows out of the target - I would be wore out by the end of the course if I kept pulling his arrows out.
