Does any one, (Dumb Question) know anything about a Root Target Master, teal fiber glass lams? Are they good bows? I am trying to pick an old one up.

I've seen both Target Master recurves, and Target master longbows. Either would be a good shooter, if they are in good condition.

Root bows and early Shakespeare bows were designed and made by a true craftsman. If there are no signed of abuse, delamination, overly twisted limbs, etc, odds are you'll have an excellent shooter.

""Are they good bows? ""
They are as good as any other of like design, and better than some others. Ernie Root was a top notch designer.

He's asking about the teal-colored glass. Yes, teal-colored glass is superior to all other glass due to coolness.

I have a Root Target Master made about 1956 that has green glass. One of the best shooting bows I own......love it.

I have the Root Game Master and Warrior, what a great bow. Would like to own the Target Master but have not found one that I could afford. You have a great chance to buy a piece of history.
