I have been considering a custom bow for a while and the work Rick does looks great. If there is anybody out there that has any knowledge about sticker bow it would be great if you could share that. Do they shoot good? Are they of hight quality? Are they quiet? Anything would be great. Also has anyone shot or owned the new 2014 classic striker bow? It looks like a nice bow to me and would like some info from fist had experience.

I have been shooting Ricks bows since 2001. I have two takedowns, one one piece and one more bow on order. The bows he crafts are my go to bows. I am not sure what you want to know about a bow being quiet. The aren't an owl bow. I love shooting mine, so I guess you can say they shoot good though they are only propelling a projectile to where I am aiming. I have shot all there of his newer bow and they are all good bows. The sport and classic are base bows. No frills, just choose a poundage and that is what you get. The other bow models are his custom bow where you can choose size, weight, wood, and contour of the grip. If you have anymore question feel free to pm me.

My cousin bought one. We visited his shop when he was making it to make sure the grip was right. The bow is as good as any other custom. Rick does quality work. Dollar value matches most customs. Finish is great.

They seem smooth, but what do I know (LOL) My cousin ordered a 56 in and it doesnt seem to stack.

From time to time he takes bows back in on trade and refinishes (that may fit your needs)

Im a longbow guy so I would order a 3 pc if I ordered one.

All in all I have nothing bad to say. as an FYI his wife handpaints each logo (cool)

A guy I shoot with bought one at the Kalamazoo Expo some years ago. It's a r/d longbow. It was the second bow he ever owned. It's blue actionwood and is one of the nicer longbows I've ever shot. It's a lot of bow for the money.

just got a stinger 60" 50@28 quite smooth shooter. I normally shot recurve so its pretty smooth comparing it to my recurve .

These are really smooth great shooting bows. If you like light mass weight bows, then this is the one. I only have experienced the 3 piece TDL model. Traded it away and it is one that I regret losing.

I just bought one of Rick's Sport one piece longbows. Fast, smooth, quiet, and no handshock. I love it!

There is a reson you don't see many used strikers for sale. Had an xtreme model that I sold and definitely regret it. Got to shoot the sport model at the great american outdoor show in harrisburg, pa and it was smooth as butter not to mention fast and quiet. Can't go wrong with a striker
