Well, I expect to be hearing from BigJim in a bit regarding my wood selection for a new Buffalo. I sure would appreciate seeing what you guys have out there. Right now I'm thinking osage riser with darker wood inlays and maybe highly figured koa limb veneers. I don't think I've ever seen that combo before. Let's see what you've got!

I no longer have this one, the grip was shaped for the original owner and it didn't fit my hand well. Since I've sold it I have often wished I had just sent it to Jim to have the grip re-shaped.

64" Big Jim Buffalo Bow made from highly figured maple and ebony.

I own four buffaloes. Pics are all on my computer at work, I will try to post some when I get there. I can tell you that it does not matter which wood combo you select...Jim will turn it into a thing of beauty. Personally, I like purpleheart and zebra....

Here is my Buffalo, first custom bow I've ever owned. It's a 64" 45# with Osage and ziricote riser. The limbs are pecky pecan. I thoroughly enjoy shooting it. It was definitely worth the wait.

Here's my current bow, 62" with Macassar ebony veneers. Beaver tail grip, Cape buffalo horn limb tips and back, two piece takedown. I love it.

My first one was this one he had on hand when I visited his shop. Bakote with incredible grain.

WoW!! Love them all! The pecky pecan is awesome!

I decided on 2 piece t/d 62" 50# @28". Olive limb veneers with moose tips, osage riser with cocobolo, rosewood or macassar inlays to set off the osage. Brown beavertail low wrist grip with medium girth. Can't wait!

I am sure you'll see it was worth the wait when you get it!
