Yorktown's Vintage Bows Volume III is available on eBay.

I haven't seen Volume III mentioned in here the form. Volumes I and II are unique in the literature of vintage bows. I expect Volume III will add to the history of the modern bow.

Thanks Rick, George, and any others who have contributed.

Thanks guys. I can only afford "word of mouth" advertising.

Done Ryman. Volume III has only been available for 3 days. So nobody has a print copy yet. Sure hope you guys like it and can spread the word.

I received Volume III today. Reading with interest, cover to cover, gave me a great deal of pleasure.

Rick has indicated that shipping has been delayed by the weather. Orders, placed, and not yet received, are on their way.

I regard Rick's series, all volumes I and II and now III, as a service to the community of archers rather than a commercial venture. To my knowledge, there is nothing in the literature of vintage bows that competes with the series.

If you have an interest in the golden age of vintage bows, the history of the bow,the relative merits different bows, bow design, men behind the design, evolution of the bow, and practical shooting advice, there is no comparable source.

Thanks Rick and others who contributed.

Aw shucks, thanks Grampus. Yes, the day I put up the book for sale; I'm in Wisconsin, but North Carolina where Lulu's print shop is began to get hit with storms that shut down production and shipping for a bit. They seem to have caught up, and the first books are now arriving. (Hope my own order arrives today)

Wallers have contributed much to my books, and I give credit where I can.

If you have an interest in vintage bows, there is no better source of information than Volumes I, II, and now III. The series is unique. It is the only reference for subject matter.

Just ordered my copy of v. III.

Thanks for taking the time and effort to pull this information together. I'm a huge fan of the older bows and my hunting stable are all from the mid 1960's.
