Lets see some 2013 pics from the woods and fields in your hunting spots. Here is one from Mid-October in NY. Looking down an old farm road that cut across a steep hill and was used to bring wood to the farm. In the bottom left you can just make out a lake that we also hunt around.
Hope to get out again for a few days this weekend.

I had walked across the clearing towards the gophers. Then went around and go on that rock. The gophers would come up looking where they saw me last, or that was the plan. It worked for 2 shots , then after that my arrows went back to hitting where the gophers used to be.

My very first bow kill a nice doe taken from the ground 21 yard shot with a Browning Nomad stalker recurve in 1974.
