Great video...I'll be getting my first dozen wood shafts (not hardware store dowels) next month. 12 Douglas Fir shafts from Allegheny Mountain...and the price is great!

Thanks for making this video. I like the idea of a screw in point for wood arrows. What kind of wood will make the lightest arrow and keep straight after shooting? I need an arrow between 9-10 grains per lb for my 43# longbow.

Sitka is pretty light, but you can get Cedar to remain that heavy if you don't cut them down. Full length gives more weight.
