I love Elburg. I have a Jaguar special my wife got me it is 64" and [email protected]. I killed the biggest buck I've ever shot with it in Ohio last year. I just sent it to Adam, the gentlemen who took over Harrys business to be taken down 3 or 4 pounds and to be refinished. He said it should be done in about three weeks! Can't wait to get it, I have shot a lot of bows but love this one the best. Just sayin!

I had a Harry Elburg bow about 25 years ago. Very nice bow.

Harry Elburg also developed the Grizzly broadhead, if I'm not mistaken.

Yep. Me, too. Mine was a reverse handle. Can't remember the model name. Very nice bow. Wish I still had it, but it would probably be too heavy for me know. I believe he also designed another head as well. Think he called it the wolverine. A journeyman style head. May be wrong on the name.

Harry used to come to Denton Hill, where he had his longbows and Grizzly broadheads for sale. He was a delight to talk to as well, and always had a story to tell. After his last trip there he sold his Grizzly broadhead business to a guy named Abel, I believe. I almost bought a Condor longbow from him one year, but left without it. My buddy had one of his Jaguar bows and loved that one. If you spent some time with Harry, you really wanted one of his bows. Hard to explain...he was just that way.

I've shot a few Elburgs, and they are nice. Is Adam back to making bows? I heard he had took some time off?

Adam is making bows. I bought one from him in 2009, it was a work of art. Sold it like a fool. I have the Jaguar special and it is a great bow. I will be buying another from Adam when I save the money. For now he is doing a weight reduction and refinish on my Special.

What is adam's contact info? Or website.

I have 3 Elburgs, and nearly bought another, and I regret I did not. Sure they suck and aren't worth buying, thank goodness nobody is after them.

I'd love to find a 64" rh jaguar special. I had 2 jag specials years ago and sold them like a fool. I held on to a lefty jaguar special until last spring but a buddy of mine had to have it after shooting it. He killed a nice deer with it! Great bows:)

I think I know what you found Ed... if so that is a really sweet, smooth as butter Elburg... a couple of buddies from the club had that bow... I think it came from CO.

This one will make eight Elburgs for my rack. :)

I have two 48" Jaguar Mites, a 50" Jaguar Mite, a 54" Jaguar Mite, a 66" Jaguar, a 68" Jaguar, a 58" Cherokee Mag, and now the 68" Condor.

I would love to find a two piece Jaguar, or Cherokee Mite.

The Condor just arrived late this afternoon. All I can say is Wow! I bought it from Mr. Nail and his description of it's condition as being like new is very accurate. The bow looks like it just arrived from Harry Elburg. The tips are very tiny and the grip is excellent. The draw seems very smooth. I will take it out for a jaunt tomorrow and see how it handles my shooting style. It may not be a perfect copy of a "hill style", but it is one of the nicest copies of that style I've ever handled. I can't believe Mr. Nail allowed this one to get away, but I do appreciate it.
