I was looking online and didn't see it...probably was last years models there. PM Larry Hatfield, he posts here and will know the particulars. Larry has worked for Howatt for a long time.

Okay, I found in on the new online catalog. Pretty sharp and is the first listed under traditional bows. You may have to contact the company to get a suggested retail on that bow. Here's link to online 2012 catalog. Traditional bows start on page 29.

Larry Hatfield told me a while back that there was a replacement coming for his namesake. I told him that I sure hoped it would also be named after him.
Guess it kinda also makes sense to name it after Mr. Martin, since without him Mr. Hatfield would have to spend a lot of time running the company instead of our playing in the woods. Dirty job, but someone has to do it, right Larry?

dave, it's gails bow all the way. i don't have plans to do any bow with my name as of now.i worked on gails bow and worked on the new lams we designed for the bow as well as the design of the riser. it's a fun bow to shoot. did you notice the draw curve in the little box? it's about as straight a line as we could do.

The bow looks like the discontinued Sabre, but with different woods. The Sabre was a great shooting bow but didn't catch on. Problem is, it's the same length as the Hunter, and most folks will probably opt for that one. Hard to argue with the quality and longevity of the Howatt Hunter when looking for a hunting bow.

Very impressive catalog.
The Dream Catcher caught my eye, big time.
Also impressed with the array of items including shafts.

The "Hunter" is as good a recurve as you will find anywhere...PR

I asked this same question over on Martintech board and one of the members says his dealer says $699 retail.
