That's a hard one. In addition to those already mentioned, I can think of more sweetheart Bears. I have a private theory that for me and many others, of all the "good tools" that pass through my hands; the ones that stick and become keepers, must get the vote. So:

covejeep, I am lucky to own one in this condition. The Kodiak Deluxe also came in 56" amo and thats a real rare bird, also came in 60" and 64". The Kodiak Special Deluxe was made in lentghs longer than 64".But it still had the clear Crysalite Bearglas, all these models with the Crystalite Bearglas were only made one year 1960. They had trouble with the type of glue. Had delaminatios and white streaks in the glass. To bad I think they were the nicest looking of all the Bear bows.

When I was in my teens the Super Kodiak that cost $100 (1969) was the bow I most wanted. I was shooting a $20 Ben Pearson Cougar and couldn't imagine ever owning the Super K, and never did/have. Now, 40+ years later I could afford it but I switched to Lefty in 1996--I haven't come across one yet.
In fact, I'm buying a Rose Oak SuperWildcat (due next month) because it reminds me of the Super K.

My favorite model Bear has always been the Kodiak or Super Kodiaks and I've liked about every year's version. I especially like the '60,'62, '63, and '64 models and the Super Ks- with my favorite being the '67 1/2. I don't currently own each of these but I have at different times. I'm currently using five bows to hunt with-a '69 Super K; a '69 Style I B riser with Stahl limbs; a '70 Super K; a '71 StyleII B riser with Bear white tipped first edition limbs, and Signature riser with 1981 greentipped limbs that have been retipped by bowdoc. All of these are modified and the others I own are original and lighter weights than I shoot. There aren't many versions of these bows I don't like but I've run across a wide range of performance within the same model and year. Guess that's reasonable considering the numbers Bear cranked out. Too many to choose.
I'm a big fan of the Grumley Deerslayer and would like to make my own one day. The aluminum laminate Kodiaks are cool. 56-58 Kodiaks are nice. The 59 is an icon. I really like the 62 Kodiak. 64-66 are nice. 67-69 Super Kodiaks... Wood riser Grayling Takedowns.
I like them all. My favorite bow is my 70 Kodiak Hunter. My first trad bow and was used to kill one heck of a buck. Run an 8 arrow quiver with it and love how smooth the draw is on it, but 45# will do that. That bow got me into the P&Y books and got me to meet the measuer who probably sold the bow in the first place. He also had a good story of meeting Mr. Bear, so I finally had a connection to Bear.
I'm in the process of moving up to a 98 TD that is 65#. Need a to get a left handed 8 arrow quiver for takedown models, 2018 arrows, and a bowcase for it.

Best for looks that I currently have is my '59 K Special. Best for shooting is my '61 43# Kodiak, then my '62 Kodiak comes in second. However, my 63" '62 K Special is real smooth and sticks'em in there pretty tight. But just the other day, I was thinking that my'60 K Special, which fits my grip better than the low wrist '59, needs to get outdoors more and low and behold, I think I may have a winner on best Bear for this week. It'll probably go to the Pre Spring Thing in two weeks.
Of other Bears I have owned my all time favorite was my '62 K Mag. It was shot almost daily in early '62 and was my hunting partner for many years. It was so dawgone pretty I would as a 15 year old kid on a cold winter day I would sit at the edge of the floor furnace to keep warm and just look at the wood grain in it like a rich man might look at his gold. My '63 Tamerlane was the smoothest Bear I ever owned and was extremely stable on those long targets. Great bow for working on form. Don't have an all time favorite unless it would be the '61 bubinga Kodiak, even though it has a few more stress lines than my '59 and '60, it just keeps on going and going like me and the Energizer Bunny. One darn good shooting bow. It makes woodies, axis trads, predator II's, aluminums, and anything put in it just fly good. After each shot, it sort of rocks forward smoothly and slowly like an old target bow as if it were saying "How'd ya like that"?

I have a question. In the 1966 and 1967 Bear catalogs there is no listings for the Bear Kodiak Hunter. In the 1968 catalog there is but it's 60" and has a shedua riser and forest green glass. I also checked the 1969 ( 60" arctic grey glass / tiger wood ), 1970 ( 60" arctic grey glass / pau ferro and african bubinga with an accent stripe ), 1971 ( same as 1970 ).
So is the 58" zebra riser kodiak hunter a very rare bow that only a few were made between 1967 1/2 and 1968 ?

My sentimental favorite is the 1960 Kodiak I like the looks and the way grip fills my hand.

1966 60" Kodiak at 55#. Or is it a 1967 1/2 52# KH? Enjoyed a couple of Grizzly bows I had. Might be a 45# Kodiak Magnum.

My favorite is a 2012 Montana longbow. It just makes me smile and shoots better than I can.

Several contenders, all for different reasons, but the surprising winner is a 1967 K Mag. I got one in trade with a well known LW-er. He wanted a LH Grizzly in the 45 # range for his LH K Mag. He got my 1970 camo'd Grizzly that I had shot at least 10,000 arrows out of and slew hundreds of critter with , and he sent me an almost-mint 67 K Mag. That bow was unbelievably fun to stump with! I let it go to move up in weight, but that bow, at that weight, was a perfectly blended combination of every day/all day shootability, carry-ability, lethal punch and good looks.
