Already planning for next year. Thinking of putting a pop up at my brothers and leaving it all year. Thinking of brushing it in and leaving foilage grow around and up the side. Point being can anyone recommend one you can shoot a 62 in bow out of? Im looking at the Penthouse Its pretty tall. Im not wanting to put a lot in one because its going to be out in the elements all year. And Im not sure how well it will hold up. Second option is build one out of natural materials. Theres enough saplings in this field I hunt I could build a small house. Anyone have ideas ,suggestions??

I shoot a 70 inch longbow so the penthouse is the one I'm looking at. Primos visions a nice one too, would probably be fine with 62", n its not real expensive.

A bit of a different angle here but I just received a Niff-T-Seat yesterday (www.nifftseat.com) and am impressed with the quality, light wt., 5", 16" & 22" height options, swivel ability and portability. Your second option is where I'm headed, this seat allows you to stay low and brush yourself in and/or add camo netting and with very little effort still simply pick up, move and set up again with wind changes. Also with a simple folding (boy scout type)shovel you could easily dig a hole for your lower legs and use the seats 5" height option getting even lower. It has a lot of potential, I.M.O.

I shoot a 62" BW and I am using a Double Bull Recurve model - it has a 72" center height and I have no problems at all.

Check out the Hidden Hunter blind sold by Ron LeClair. If I buy a pop up it will be that one.

Natural blinds are free, and often, better.

Check out the Bone Collector by Ameristep. It seems nice and big enough. I have a DB Recurve model and it is big. I have also shot 62" longbows out of the standard DB models.

One good thing about a blind is that in the winter hunts you can put a little buddy heater in it and keep warm - but more importantly - quiet.

I have always found that during the late season here in Northern, WI it is many times nearly impossible to get a draw on deer when it is really cold out - sometimes below zero - you just can't draw a bow quitely when it is that cold - everything creaks and cracks - your cloths, the bow, the string - heck - probably your bones!

With a pop up and heater - no noise at all no matter how cold it is.

The penthouse is 90" tall, for my 70 inch bow thats ideal. Give me 10" clearance top and bottom. I believe the visions 80 if I'm not mistaken.

If you set up a portable (cloth) Blind and leave it out for the year it will get chewed on by critters and damaged by the sun and weather. I would expect that it would not last more than 2 years if even that.

Rock is correct. Double Bull is the best but will last 3 seasons. All others bout 1 year and they will come apart in a good wind. Even Double bulls will fade after 1 year.
