There's a yew longbow with black backing for sale on ebay. Seller is ALLAGASH.

It's the second time this bow is for sale. The first time I bought it and returned it after finding it is not in beautiful condition.

There's a hinge in the top limb due to a Delam of the black backing (some sort of fortisan or similar black back).

The backing is also scratched and marred badly.

I found the bow's original listing that the current seller is flipping dishonestly. He bought it for $20 but that listing did show everything, he is not.

CAVEAT EMPTOR, HE CHOSE GOOD PICTURES TO POST BUT BOW IS NOT AS IT LOOKS OR DESCRIBED.

I don't know if he's on the LW or not but I don't care, just a heads up. If anyone wants names and more info, please PM me.

No, I sent it back without even touching it. It went back as soon as it was delivered and I discovered the old listing for it

Not at all Mike, I was happy with what I paid. I was not happy with what I got after comparing with the seller's description and photos.

I'm just letting possible buyers know EARLY what I FOUND OUT LATE.

You can do whatever you want with the information I provided, so please don't question my intentions for posting this, or my reasons for returning the bow.

At the very least, sounds like a good opportunity to request pics of the bow braced and drawn…. If the seller can’t/won’t provide those, I would find that pretty sketchy.

I have bought exactly One Bow off of the bay and did NOT get what I paid for, so… not a Fan of that approach ;)
