I just received a Bear 59 Kodiak on a trade, made in 2013 and man is it sweet. I am a longbow guy but have been wanting a recurve, and I have always loved Bear bows so I was about to sale a longbow of mine and this bow came up for sale or trade and we made a deal. It is very quite and looks amazing. I have wanted one for a while but didn't really have the money but this trade worked out. It is a great shooter, pretty quick too. And the Rosewood is very pretty on it. If you haven't shot one and have been wanting too, you art too. The finish on this bow is perfect, I had a newer Grizzly that was pretty blocky but not on this model. Thinking about taking the leather grip off, if you have one with it off and can post a picture please do so. Thanks

BigB,where's the pic of said bow? I like that green glass with the purple heart accent. Not sure why,but it appeals to me.

I have a 2013 that I ordered new and haven't even strung it up yet. It is a bit heavy for me now at 60 pounds.

I have just in the last few weeks strung up and started shooting my LES 3 that I got in 2020. It's so nice that I am starting to feel remorseful for letting it set so long.
