Just saw this and thought I'd post. Fred Bear passed on this day back in 1988.
I didn't get into trad archery till 1998 and I read all I could find. I discovered his videos and books. Glenn St Charles book Bows on the Little Delta.
Anyhow, Fred has been a big influence on me. RIP Mr. Bear

I looked upon him as a Grandfather figure, gentle and wise, in all things. A man who garnered respect, honest, trustworthy. And yes, a big influence on my archery path.
