Hanna Kroll, Charlie Kroll's daughter had her storage unit broken into containing many Fred Bear and Charlie's collectables. I will post a list of items when they are provided to me. Keep a look out for the sudden sale of Bear and Kroll items especially in the Denver Colorado area.

Also would you ebayer's keep a look out for things that pop up. Anyone who sees things for sale that may look suspicious can get ahold of me VIA PM and I will keep you out of it and pass any info on. Thanks,

Hope the storm items are recovered.

I also hope the thieves are caught.

It’s unfortunate that those pieces weren’t in a national museum somewhere, along with collection pieces for the last 100 years.

Hope that they catch the perps.

"Hanna Kroll, Charlie Kroll's daughter had her storage unit broken into containing many Fred Bear and Charlie's collectables."

Sounds like the low life predators might have been caseing the young Lady , waiting for the chance to get in the unit and steal . Any possibilitiy that the storage unit facilities have camera's with surviellance film ? Most do around here . Theres also the chance that the stolen items are in another unit , and the scumball lowlifes or lowlife that did this are playing a wait game waiting for things too cool off and then move stolen items . Just giving my thoughts , a different persceptive to try to crack the case .

Yes whoever or who(s) ever did this need to get servierly punished and thats for starters .

From: Jon Stewart
Date: 30-Mar-24

Several units were broken into so hopefully they have some evidence to work with like prints and camera's.

I hope more than one thief was involved. One can keep his mouth shut but 2 can't.

There are other countries that chop thieves hands off...I have always said it would definitely take care of repeating offenders!

I hate a thief, and the law handles them with kid's gloves, anymore.

Used to hang horse thieves too and didn't blame anybody for making them "so easy to steal" like a KIA is today? As Harry said above, "cut down on reoffenders".

Good luck with recovery and hopefully prosecution.

If several units were broken into, it’s likely those guys have no idea what they have. Just grab and go. And they might have no idea where to get rid of it. Best of luck to the young lady on the return!

That thought ran threw my mind too, Red Dogs. Then again, would things be taken if there were no perceived value? IDK

Don't most of those storage facility places have security cameras?

From: Jon Stewart

Hannah posted some photo's on facebook. If you are on facebook and friend Fred Bear Day the photos are there. I can't down load them for some reason (mainly because I don't know how). There were Bear take downs, take down limbs hand guns a rifle with Fred Bear's name engrave on the barrel, photo's and many other items.

“One can keep his mouth shut but 2 can't.”

Sounds like Lived Experience! Let’s hope there were at least 5 involved. ;)

Seems like anyone sophisticated enough to crack into storage units would only take things which they know are valuable, but in this case I wouldn’t think they could get the value out of the pieces without exposing themselves… Sort of like the people who steal Art. Who would buy anything which the whole wide world knows is stolen?? And how much is a “valuable” piece worth if it can never be re-sold? Not much profit in it.

Hope they get nailed.

Any NEWS on the stolen Items???

From: Jon Stewart
Date: 22-Apr-24

There has been some movement on the case. One of the bows showed up on ebay in Loveland Co. recently which is about 30 miles from the crime scene but was removed shortly after it was posted. Officers have been in contact with EBAY on the matter.

Hannah is extremely frustrated and very upset. I told her to hang in there as these things take time. But that doesn't make it any easier for her.

I don’t think the police really care to solve the problem. My experience with them is they could car less

From: AK Pathfinder
Date: 04-May-24

Sort of depends on where you live,Billy. Here in the red state of Idaho the police are fairly aggressive when it comes to property theft. Hopefully they act the same where this happened.

From: Billy Singleton
Date: 04-May-24

Well I hope they do. I know here where I live they don’t take it very seriously unless you are someone with influence

From: Billy Singleton

I guess we will see but I doubt the police will solve anything

Several year ago my car got broken into in broad daylight (4-6pm) in downtown Milwaukee. I was in a restaurant and walked out to shattered glass laying on the curb. They broke the passenger side window and stole my iPad that was laying on the seat. (MY BAD.). I was leaving for a hunting trip in Iowa from Milwaukee that NIGHT. I had a slug gun in the back buried under my duffel bags, etc. They just stole the iPad. They also took the time to take the charger cord.

OK - so I call the cops with my iPhone. They show up in like 3 minutes. I used the "find my iPad" feature on my phone and showed the cops EXACTLY where the perpetrators were on the screen. The iPad was about 2 miles away at a house in Milwaukee. I said - I got them located - let's go get it back. The cop says "we can't do that because you have no proof that the person in possession of the iPad is the one who stole it. It could have changed hands already." I literally was like the old Orioles manager Earl Weaver - I was absolutely out of my mind pissed. I said well then I will go myself. The cop said if I go he will "get a body bag ready for me" He put his hand on my shoulder and said "Son, let it go, your life is worth more than that iPad." I instantly realized he wasn't joking and he was right. End of Story.

If some of you folks only knew. I was an officer for 25 years working major case as a detective for my last 10 years.

Just a little side note my partner was shot and killed on my day off.

I don't do Facebook, and if available , some photos of items to be on the lookout for on this site would be helpful.
